The Covered Passages of Paris

We’re going to let you in on a secret: as a visitor to Paris, you would never know that, behind many of the city’s boulevards, charming hidden passageways full of shops and restaurants exist! One such area, known as Les Passages Couverts, is a covered shopping arcade with elegant architecture. The boutiques, restaurants, galleries and cafes found here are truly incredible; some haven’t changed in over 150 years!
