Platinum desert safaris
- I have a baby with me, can he/she join? Children below 8 years old are not allowed as per the Al Maha Resort policy. Please contact us for an alternative.
- Will I go dune bashing?We focus on sustainable practices and conduct gentle wildlife drives in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve that doesn't include dune bashing.
- Why are there alcohol restrictions?We are committed to stay true to local traditions and showcase the authenticity, warmth and hospitality of this region.
- What type of clothing is recommended?As the desert can get quite warm, we suggest bringing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and cool, comfortable clothes. In the winter, we recommend wearing layers and bringing something warm.
- What time is pickup from our hotel?The approximate pickup time is between 5:00 and 6:30 AM, depending on the sunrise of the month. The exact time is communicated on the day before the experience.
